About the project

The Grade II* listed building dates back to 1870, although the site itself is said to have been occupied by a church or chapel since c1150. The laser scan survey was carried out both internally and externally in order to create detailed 1:50 floor plans, elevations and sections.

  • Aside from its primary function as a church the building had multiple uses as a cafe, shop and museum and was being reconfigured to make the best use of the space.
  • Scanning was the perfect solution for this project due to the ornate nature of the building and the level of detail required.
