Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) or Drone Surveys can be used on all types of projects. Whether a dedicated UAV survey for large scale mapping or an additional tool to traditional techniques, a UAV can capture difficult to access information both safely and quickly.
Using photogrammetry and a network of Ground Control Points (GCP's) an area can be captured and processed into a point cloud to supplement the terrestrial scan data. Ideal for capturing roof information or high up detail, UAV's are excellent at filling in the gaps.
