About the project
St John's House was built in 1976 and had been used primarily for office space, the building was now being converted into student accommodation and a full measured survey was required. A full laser scan survey was carried out from basement to roof level both pre-strip and post-strip out.
- Full 2D floor plans, elevations and sections were provided and updated after the post-strip survey.
- A topographical survey of the surrounding streets and car park was carried out and permanent, accurate ground control installed.
- The client also requested a Revit model of the external envelope of the building which we provided.
- Verticality heatmaps of the brickwork on each of the main facades was also required.
